It is a Surah most requested on the nights of tahajjud by the young men who seek to learn from the wisdom of one who has strived as they strive to stay pure of sin.

It is a Surah most referred to by those who study the interpretations of dreams and marveled at through the extraordinary gifts of Allah SWT to this one man.

It is a Surah for those who seek beauty, and realize the beauty contained therein.

In this Seminar, you will:

  • see how brothers can turn against brother and still find a way to come back and to repent;
  • glimpse how hardship can define character and injustice isn’t an excuse to stray from ethics;
  • observe the point at which love for Allah SWT outshines love for anything else

By the end of this seminar you will be able to:

  • speak with purpose
  • incorporate more patience in your life
  • learn Leadership skills and how to take initiative
  • realize the value of honesty in your life and never tell another lie

Shaykh Abdulbary Yahya

Abdulbary Yahya was born in Vietnam during the Vietnam War, and very soon thereafter immigrated to the U.S. with his family. He grew up in Seattle, WA and after completing his primary and secondary education there, began his studies at the Islamic University of Madinah. It was at the University that he befriended Muhammad Alshareef, as they sat next to each other in the first year of their studies.

Upon graduation from the Islamic University of Madinah's College of Shariah, AbdulBary Yahya returned to Vietnam and Cambodia and became a teacher and director of the Revival of Islamic Heritage Society in Cambodia and the Umm al-Qura Charity Organization in Vietnam.

He presently resides in Seattle, WA with his family, and is an instructor with AlMaghrib Institute, an organization that provides trademark double-weekend seminars leading students towards a bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies. He is currently the Imam (spiritual leader and advisor) of Masjid Jaamiul Muslimeen in Seattle, WA. He also holds the positions of President of the Cham Refugee Community and Vice-President of the Islamic Center of Washington State.

AbdulBary Yahya's most current seminar of instruction with AlMaghrib Institute is Seerah: The Shepards Path, the biography of Muhammad sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam. He also teaches Chain of Command; Sciences of Hadith.
